I'm your black magic and two-dollar love
The Kills' what I called the murderous duo, kicking on my itch and have me dead, smiling. Formed by American Alison 'VV' Mosshart and British Jamie 'Hotel' Hince in 2000, theirs got whole lot about them, music and fucking charisma I say.

Jamie 'Hotel' Hince (left with guitar) and Alison 'VV' Mosshart (right)
It all started when Alison Mosshart overheard Jamie Hince playing his guitar upstairs her hotel room. They decided to put their bizarre musical brains together the next year and struck up a song-writing partnership sending their work tapes via air-mail across the Atlantic. Eventually, they shrugged off all approaches from major labels in true punk fashion, which later saw their debut Black Rooster EP released under British indie label Dominic Records in 2002.
Their music is a brand new revelation to Garage and Post Punk, crafted with the evil touch of Blues decorated with equally dark and surreal lyrics. Playing famously with only a guitar and a drum machine, the duo has won recognition through their honest, sassy and dynamic performance at their live gigs. Alison VV is known for chain-smoking while singing on stage and the duo rarely speaks to the audience, but thats what the Kills are about. It's music stripped down to the core. No frills, no fuss, no flashy stage show, just them on stage doing their stuff with that 'couldn't care less' attitude. Alison VV has that brutally sexy vocals on minor keys coos very much equiped and with Jamie Hince even stylish riff's in the balance, their chemistry is instantaneous and a phonomenon.
The band recently released their third album- Midnight Boom, still their usual dark and sexy psychedelic bluesy punk at the very best. Their official website www.thekills.tv, and find out a lot more about them at thekills.blogspot.com
