Let's Go Keys!

Gotta get to know The Black Keys, the wickedly magnifincent two-piece band of blues-rock in low fidelity formed by the Akron Ohio duo, Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney. Their stylish blues-rock dabble in funk and psychedelia is vintage late 60s to the uttermost and always so much more to my liking. It is absolutely exciting to think that Cream has somehow survived in the music of The Black Keys.
Their stripped-down dirty sound is raw and thrilling in the blend of passionate thrashing drums and gritty, riff heavy guitar and their vocals in Auerbach has got an extraordinary powerful, rusty voice made perfect for blues-rock. The Black Keys is more than just rock n' roll, the duo is the one singular answer that illustrate the art of blues-rock in sheer brilliance and class with Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead, Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top and Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant all claiming to be the fans of the band.
