I'm Not There

It blows my mind and it was the first class film experience I have demanded. A biopic masterpiece puzzled out by the mischievious visionary in the name of Todd Haynes that illustrates an elusive American icon in true style. It took six individuals to journey through the life and times of a mythical Bob Dylan and his music. Every six of them is a potrait of Bob Dylan in a series of shifting personae as poet, prophet, fake, star of electric, outlaw, rebel, each has different names, diffent professions, and each is Bob Dylan weaved together in the works of Cate Blanchett, Richard Gere, Christian Bale, Ben Wishaw, Marcus Carl Franklin and the late Heath Ledger.

It is cynical, poetic, provotive and unconventional, I'm Not There is a revolution to biographical motion picture. The film is essentially itself, a Bob Dylan song, one of his best.
